Lucynda N. Scheffer is an alumni of George Mason University, having studied Global Affairs and Creative Writing. She is currently a preschool teacher, working in developing international literacy techniques and preparing for deployment with the Peace Corps. She is a lot of things, including a foreign exchange student, a big sister, and a former intern. She has lived in six countries on four contients, even though she only speaks two and a half languages. Most of the time she remembers to act like an adult, though that's not guaranteed in the presence of kittens or small children.
A lifelong author, Lucynda has written everything from full-length novels (which will never see the light of day) to poetry (which might) to memoir (somewhere in between), and is looking forward to sharing it with the world at large. Equally exciting is her worldview as a third culture kid (TCK), someone who grew up in a different culture than their parents.
lucyndascheffer.com is her attempt to stake her claim on the internet, and is quite pleased to be here.
